RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. This pedal IS the tone. The Nux Mighty Lite BT MkII has a built-in chorus effect; if accessible via app, set Rate slow (~3) and Depth full (10). Without chorus, you will not achieve this sound.
Your Squier Strat's single-coil neck pickup is brighter and thinner than Cobain's DiMarzio PAF humbucker. I raised mid +1 from the original to compensate for the Strat's natural mid-scoop, and dropped treble -1 to tame single-coil ice-pick. The Nux Mighty Lite is a practice amp with digital voicing—keep gain low to preserve that slightly-breaking clean character rather than full distortion.
