01Nux MG-101 (High Gain/Metal preset)
Select the 'Metal' or 'US High Gain' amp model on the MG-101. This is your primary gain source — the Stagg amp stays clean. Use the built-in noise gate.
The Stagg 10 AG is a 10-watt practice amp with no high-gain channel — it cannot produce death metal saturation alone. All gain comes from the MG-101's metal amp model. Amp gain set to 3 keeps the Stagg clean as a power platform. The Jackson JS32 has passive high-output humbuckers vs the original's EMG actives, so MG-101 gain is pushed to 8 to compensate for lower output and less compression.
