RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Essential for the spacious, atmospheric quality of this track. A TC Electronic Hall of Fame or Boss RV-6 would work. Run in FX loop if added later.
The Engl Fireball is a high-gain metal amp, the opposite of a Vox AC30's chimey Class A warmth. Use Channel 1 (clean) with gain at 2 to avoid any breakup. The Fireball's tight, aggressive EQ needs mid pushed to 6 and presence pulled back to 4 to approximate the AC30's rounder, less cutting character. Rolling tone knob to 7 on your EC-256's humbuckers softens the top end to get closer to Bellamy's warmer Manson voicing.
