I maxed your gain and scooped mids hard to approximate the thrash EQ curve, but your single-coil Strat pickups will sound thinner and brighter than Hetfield's hot EMG humbuckers—rolling tone to 8 tames some ice-pick highs. Without a distortion pedal, you will get maybe 40% of this tone; with a DS-1 or similar, you can reach 70%.
