Why these settings

Your Marshall G50RCD is mid-forward and brighter than the original Fender tweed voicing, so I dropped treble to 5 and pushed mids to 7 to capture that warm, woody 50s character. Your Jackson's humbuckers are hotter and darker than the original single coils, so rolling the tone knob to 6 and using the neck pickup gets you into that round, non-aggressive territory. Gain stays low — this tone barely breaks up.

PRO TIPPlay with your pick angled and use the fleshy part of your thumb slightly muting the strings near the bridge for that authentic 50s 'thump' on the low notes — Ritchie Valens and the rockabilly guys got half their tone from right-hand technique, not gear.
