Why these settings

The Wenstone Guitar 10 is a small practice amp with limited gain and only bass/treble EQ. The original Mesa Rectifier delivers massive preamp saturation and mid control the Wenstone cannot replicate. A high-gain distortion pedal (MT-2, Rat, or Metal Zone) is mandatory to reach this tone. Maxed amp gain adds power-section grit. Bass raised +1 and treble cut -1.5 vs original to compensate for Strat single-coil brightness and thinner low-end compared to PRS humbuckers. Tone knob at 8 tames ice-pick highs.

PRO TIPTune down to C# standard (or use a pitch shifter pedal set to -3 semitones) to match the original's low-end chunk and string tension—standard tuning on a Strat will sound thin and lose the nu-metal weight no matter how you dial the amp.
