RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. The Aroma AG-04 is a small practice amp that cannot reach Mesa Rectifier saturation levels on its own. A distortion pedal is essential for this tone. With the pedal, set amp gain to 3-4 instead of 10 and use the Clean channel if available.
The Aroma AG-04 is a 3W practice amp with limited gain staging — it physically cannot produce Dual Rectifier saturation. With amp alone at max gain you'll get mild crunch, not the wall-of-sound Brad Delson uses. The Fender Mustang's single coils are also brighter and lower output than his humbuckers, so I've raised bass +1 and kept treble moderate to compensate for the thinner voicing. A distortion pedal is the only realistic path to this tone.
