To compensate for the lower output and brighter, thinner voice of the Squier Bullet Strat's single-coil bridge pickup compared to Mark Morton's humbuckers, the onboard Tube Drive block is used as a clean boost with Drive at 0 and Level pushed high to hit the amp model hard. The amp model's treble is pulled back slightly to 5 to prevent single-coil harshness while keeping mids at 6 for that articulate Lamb of God core punch. A tight onboard noise gate is mandatory to silence single-coil hum and clamp the signature syncopated stop-start riffing.
