Without an overdrive pedal, you cannot achieve the solo tone — the TS9 is non-negotiable for that section. For the clean intro riff, your Twin excels, but you need a flanger to replicate Borysewicz's signature swoosh.

PRO TIPFor the intro riff, engage the flanger and pick lightly near the neck for that glassy '80s Polish rock shimmer. When the solo hits, kick off the flanger, kick on the Tube Screamer, switch to bridge pickup, and dig in harder — the dynamic shift is part of the song's drama.
