Why these settings

The GM-215 is a budget solid-state amp lacking the tube sag and scooped Rectifier character of Korn's Mesas. Compensate by maxing out the gain channel, scooping mids slightly (4 instead of 5), and boosting bass for that nu-metal thump. Your 7-string Harley Benton with roasted fretboard actually matches Korn's extended-range setup well. Roll tone knob to 7 to tame solid-state fizz on high gain.

PRO TIPKorn's pick attack is critical — use heavy picks (1mm+) and strike hard near the bridge for that percussive chunk. Palm-mute aggressively on the low strings, then release for the open chord hits. The 'click' of the pick attack defines nu-metal more than any amp setting.
