The GTX's US High Gain or Metal 2000 model replicates the Rectifier's scooped, crushing character. Your Jackson's humbuckers are hotter than the original DiMarzio Blaze pickups, so gain is dropped from the original 7.5 to 8 (the GTX's gain taper is different). Mids are scooped to 4 to replicate the Rectifier's signature scoop. Roll your tone knob to 7 to tame the Jackson's brighter voicing versus the darker Universe.

PRO TIPTune to A standard (A-D-G-C-F-A-D) if your Jackson can handle it with heavier strings — the original was a 7-string tuned to A. If you stay in standard 6-string tuning, drop to Drop C or Drop B and play the riff an octave context adjusted. Attack the strings hard right over the bridge pickup for that percussive chunk Munky and Head nail on the record.
