Why these settings

The Epiphone ES-335's humbuckers and semi-hollow body provide richer low-mids than the typical Tele/Gretsch used in P&W recordings, so bass on the AC30 amp block is lowered to 4 and treble pushed to 7 for clarity. Using both pickups simultaneously (middle toggle) adds chimney top-end definition while controlling boominess. For the ambient intro, bypass the Screamer block and keep the Morning Drive block active.

PRO TIPPick firmly with the pick angled slightly near the bridge saddles on arpeggios to accentuate the transient chirp that feeds cleanly into the dotted-eighth delay repeats without getting muffled by the semi-hollow body.
