Your Strat's single coils are brighter and lower output than Slash's Les Paul humbuckers, so mids are pushed to 9 (vs original 8.5) to compensate for the Strat's natural mid-scoop, and treble is pulled to 6 (vs original 7) to tame single-coil ice-pick. Gain increased slightly to offset lower pickup output. Bass dropped from 5 to 4 because single coils lack the low-end thump of humbuckers and excess bass will mud out.
