Why these settings

Your Tele single coils are brighter and lower output than Slash's Alnico II humbuckers. The TS-style boost in the MG-30 compensates by fattening the signal and pushing the amp's mids. I dropped treble by 1 and boosted mids by 1 versus the original settings to offset the Tele's inherent brightness and thinner low-mids. Neck pickup with tone rolled to 7 warms the attack closer to a humbucker voice.

PRO TIPSlash's sustain came from volume and feedback, not gain — play loud enough that notes bloom when you hold them. Use slow, wide vibrato from the wrist, not fast finger vibrato. Let notes ring and decay naturally into the reverb.
