RECOMMENDED — not currently owned
The Fender Twin Reverb has massive clean headroom and will not naturally reach Slash's Marshall Silver Jubilee lead saturation on its own without an external drive pedal. To capture the frequency profile right now, Mid is pushed to 8 and Bright Switch is OFF to offset the Twin's natural mid-scoop and high-end sparkle. For true singing sustain, an external Marshall-voiced drive pedal is recommended; with the pedal engaged, keep the Twin's volume around 4-5 for an optimal clean platform. Clean intro arpeggios: switch to bridge+middle position and bring the tone knob up to 7.
