The SC-Custom II humbuckers have plenty of punch, so keep the Mini-efx high-gain preamp model around 7 while running the internal drive block as a clean boost with Tone at 7. The original Andy Sneap production emphasizes a tight low end and punchy 1.5kHz bite, so keep bass moderate at 5 and boost mids to 6 to emulate the boosted Triple XXX/Mark IV crunch. Presence is unavailable on the Mini-efx faceplate, so upper-end cut is achieved using treble at 7 and the boost pedal tone.
