The NUX GE150 Pro is a digital modeler — select a Tweed Deluxe or '57 Deluxe amp model for the correct mid-forward, warm breakup character. Your Epiphone Special has humbuckers similar to the original PAFs, so no gain compensation needed. Mid pushed to 7 to replicate the Tweed's naturally prominent midrange (no negative feedback loop). Treble stays moderate at 5 — PAFs and Tweeds are already warm; the Epiphone's ceramic pickups are slightly brighter, so we avoid boosting treble. Roll tone knob to 7 to tame any harshness.
