Why these settings

The Yamaha GA-15II is a dry practice amp with a clean channel and a 3-band EQ, but lacks built-in reverb or modulation. The signature sound relies almost entirely on lush chorus and spatial delay, so external modulation pedals are recommended to capture the authentic dream-pop wash. The Pacifica's neck and middle single-coil combination gives the rounded, glassy attack heard on the studio track.

PRO TIPPick lightly with the flat of a thin-to-medium pick right over the end of the fretboard to soften the transient and emphasize the floating, ambient sustain.
