Why these settings

The original used a 6505+ preamp — a tight, aggressive high-gain voice. Your Ibanez SA260FM has passive humbuckers with lower output than EMGs, so the Fullbore needs gain at 7 (not maxed) to avoid mud. The G1X is set to a clean platform because the Fullbore IS your distortion — stacking amp gain would collapse the low-end tightness. Scoop mids on the pedal; keep G1X mids at 3 to retain note definition on chugs.

PRO TIPPalm mute HARD and close to the bridge — deathcore tightness comes from right-hand technique, not just gain. If chugs sound flubby, roll the Fullbore's Low knob down to 5 and compensate with the G1X bass at 5.
