01Onboard Overdrive / Screamer Block
Used as a clean boost into the amp block to tighten the low end
Your Jackson JS32 humbuckers are voiced similarly aggressive to the recorded Seymour Duncan JB, so no extreme EQ compensation is needed. Because you are using a digital modeler with no physical pedals, the tight metalcore attack is achieved by engaging an internal Screamer-style boost block with zero drive and high output ahead of a 5150 or Rectifier high-gain amp model. Bass is kept moderate at 5 to prevent the low end from flubbing out under heavy palm muting. Clean intro: switch to an onboard Clean amp model with bridge+neck pickups and light delay/reverb.
