Why these settings

The original uses humbuckers into a Mesa's warm, mid-forward voicing. Your Strat's single coils are brighter and thinner, so I rolled the tone knob to 6 and dropped volume to 8 to reduce high-end ice and simulate the compressed, softer attack of humbuckers. Bass stays moderate because Strats don't produce the same low-end thump—pushing it higher would get muddy without the humbucker foundation.

PRO TIPPick closer to the neck over the fretboard edge and use the fleshy part of your fingertip or thumb for a warmer, rounder attack that mimics the original's intimate acoustic-electric hybrid feel.
