The small GA-15 practice amp cannot produce Richie Sambora's cranked Marshall JCM800 saturation on its own, so the amp is set completely clean to prevent muddy double-gain while the Joyo Extreme Metal handles all the dirt. The Joyo's Mid knob is pushed up to counteract its native scoop and recreate the punchy Marshall upper-mid bark on your single-coil bridge pickup. Tone and presence controls not present on the GA-15 faceplate are left to the pedal's 3-band EQ.
