Why these settings

The Peavey Rage 158's Lead channel provides plenty of solid-state saturation, but it has a looser bass response than DeLonge's cranked Rectifier/Marshall blend. To compensate, keep Bass at 6 to prevent speaker flub while pushing Mid to 7 and Treble to 8 to replicate the bright attack of a Seymour Duncan Invader. The Peavey 158 lacks presence and reverb controls, so those are omitted.

PRO TIPHit your power chords with aggressive, uniform downstrokes close to the bridge to get that signature tight, percussive pop-punk chunk.
