Why these settings

The original uses a high-output Invader humbucker into a Rectifier's tight, scooped voicing. Your Squier's single-coil bridge pickup is brighter and lower output, so I've pushed treble to 7 for attack and kept mids at 4 for that scooped pop-punk character. Gain at 7 compensates for the lower output — if it's too fuzzy, drop to 6. The BP-80 is a basic modeling unit, so find its highest-gain amp model that stays tight, not fizzy.

PRO TIPDeLonge's attack comes from aggressive downstrokes with a stiff pick (1mm+) right over the bridge pickup — consistent palm-muting pressure on the low strings while letting the higher notes of power chords ring clean is what creates that percussive 'chunk' sound.
