RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Essential for Iommi's upper-mid harmonic bite. Without it, push treble +1 and presence +1 on the amp, but you'll lose the germanium compression character.

Why these settings

The Randall RG75 is a solid-state high-gain amp with tighter, more scooped voicing than Iommi's Laney Supergroup. Pushed mid to 5 (vs original 6) because the Randall's mid control is already forward-voiced; raised treble to 7 to compensate for missing Rangemaster harmonics. Gain at 6 — the Randall's Lead channel saturates faster than the Laney, so backing off prevents mud.

PRO TIPDig in with the pick near the bridge and use downstrokes on the main riff — Iommi's attack is percussive and deliberate, not loose. The SG's thin body and bridge pickup give that nasal bark; your Westfield will nail it with the tone knob wide open.
