01Built-in Treble Boost (or 'Classic Dist' set low)

Use Spider V's built-in boost effect to simulate Rangemaster pushing the amp — set tone high to compensate for Strat's brighter voicing

Drive 4 · Tone 7 · Level 6
Why these settings

Your Strat's single-coil bridge pickup is thinner and brighter than Iommi's SG humbuckers, so mid is pushed to 8 (vs original ~6) and treble dropped to 5 to avoid ice-pick harshness. Bass lowered to 4 to keep the low end tight on a smaller 30W speaker. Roll guitar tone to 6 to tame the single-coil bite.

PRO TIPIommi's doom weight comes from picking hand position — anchor your palm closer to the bridge and use downstrokes with the thick part of the pick angled slightly for that grinding attack. Stay on the low E and A strings; the higher strings sound too bright for this tone.
