Why these settings

The GA-15 is a budget solid-state practice amp with limited headroom and a brighter, thinner voicing than Iommi's tube Laney. Gain pushed to 8 compensates for the lack of power-tube saturation. Bass dropped to 4 (vs original ~5) to prevent flubby low end on the smaller speaker. Mids boosted to 7 to recreate the SG/Laney mid-bark that defines this tone.
