Why these settings

To compensate for the Stratocaster's lower-output single coils against the original hot humbuckers, the TS Drive block pushes the front end while keeping Drive at zero. The NUX DUAL RECT amp model provides the thick American high gain, but mids are kept at 6 rather than scooped to prevent the Strat from sounding thin. Treble and Presence are dialed carefully to maintain aggressive bite without single-coil harshness.

PRO TIPHeavy palm muting right against the bridge saddles with a stiff 1.5mm+ pick is vital to getting the signature percussive, chugging metalcore attack of the intro riff.
