01Behringer UM300 Ultra Metal
Run into amp CLEAN channel if possible, or keep amp gain at 6 max to avoid mud. The UM300 provides the Uberschall-style scoop and tightness. Mid Freq at 4 (around 800Hz) scooped to 3 mimics the Bogner's characteristic mid-cut.
The HB-25MFX is a small solid-state practice amp without the Uberschall's massive low-end authority or tube compression. The UM300 pedal compensates by providing the scooped, tight metal voicing—bass on the amp is pulled back to 4 to prevent flub since solid-state amps get muddy fast with high bass. Treble pushed to 7 recovers the pick attack that the original's tube saturation provided naturally. Tone knob at 8 (not 10) tames the slightly harsh top-end of budget humbuckers.
