Level 7
Why these settings

The Spider V's Insane channel approximates high-gain modern voicing but lacks the Uberschall's tight low-end focus. Mids dropped to 4 (vs original's 5.5) because the Spider V's digital mids sit higher in the mix. Bass pulled to 5 to prevent flub — the IYV's humbuckers run hotter than the Invader's tight response. Treble at 6 maintains bite without digital fizz.

PRO TIPPalm mute directly over the bridge saddles with your picking hand angled slightly toward the neck — this replicates the ultra-tight chug attack Gates uses on the main riff and prevents the Spider's gain from getting washy.
