The Katana's Brown channel emulates a hot-rodded British stack, getting you closest to the Uberschall's tight saturation. Gain is pulled back from the original's 8-9 because your EC-256's humbuckers already run hot and the Brown channel saturates quickly — going higher creates mud. Mids pushed to 7 to compensate for the Katana's slightly scooped Brown voicing versus the Uberschall's naturally dense midrange. Bass dropped to 5 to keep the low-end tight on a 1x12 speaker.
