The GP-50 uses a Mesa Mark IV style high-gain model to replicate the aggressive upper-mid crunch of Synyster Gates' 2007 album tone. Because the Tagima MG 230 passive ceramic/alnico humbuckers have less extreme low-mid output than the Seymour Duncan Invaders, the Tube Screamer block is engaged with level high and drive low to compress and push the front end. For the acoustic/clean intro section, roll your guitar volume down to 3 or switch to a clean amp patch.
