Why these settings

The Powersound humbuckers on the Cort X100 have slightly ceramic top-end bite compared to Synyster's Seymour Duncan JB, so rolling your guitar tone knob to 8 softens the attack into smooth warmth. Using the Brit 800 model at moderate gain boosted by the onboard RC Boost replicates the saturated yet articulate tone of the record without excess fizz. The Rose Comp block provides the continuous, singing sustain heard throughout the lead fills.

PRO TIPPick with the rounded side or a heavy 1.5mm+ pick using a gentle attack on the unwound strings; Synyster's lead tone comes from letting the compressor and amp saturation carry the note rather than hard picking.
