Why these settings

Original uses humbuckers and acoustic guitar. Your Strat's single-coils are brighter and lower output, so gain is pushed to 3 to add body, bass raised to 6 for warmth, and treble cut to 5 to prevent ice-pick highs. Neck pickup with tone rolled to 7 mimics the humbucker's smooth mid-range. The NUX MG-101's JCM800 model preserves the Marshall mid-forward character without the harshness.

PRO TIPThis song lives in the clean-to-edge zone. Set your Strat's volume knob to clean up further for verses (drop to 7-8), then roll back up to 10 for chorus sustain. Pick lightly near the neck for acoustic-like warmth on rhythm parts.
