Why these settings

The Katana 100 MkII's Brown amp type delivers the aggressive British-voiced high-gain crunch of the original Bogner/Marshall hybrid tone natively. We omit the Fender Pugilist because stacking a distortion box into high-gain amp models introduces severe digital fizz and mud. The Jackson JS32 ceramic high-output humbuckers match the punch of the original Seymour Duncan Invaders, so mid is set forward at 7 with bass at 6 to maintain palm-mute tracking in Drop D.

PRO TIPTune to Drop D (D-A-D-G-B-E) and use a stiff heavy pick striking slightly closer to the bridge for maximum attack on the fast alternate-picked riff sections.
