Why these settings

The Uberschall is renowned for massive bass that needs cutting — the MG-300's modeling amps don't have that same low-end bloom, so bass stays moderate at 4 rather than the extreme cut needed on the real amp. Your Jem Jr's DiMarzio humbuckers are slightly hotter and brighter than Invaders, so gain at 7 reaches similar saturation without mud. Mid at 5 keeps the aggressive bark without fully scooping — the original has more mids than people assume.

PRO TIPTune to Drop D and focus on tight palm-muting technique directly over the bridge pickup — Gates gets his chunk from hand position, not just gain. For the verse riff, mute aggressively and release slightly on accents to let the notes breathe through the compression.
