01Mooer GE100 (DS/OD Block: Pure Boost)
Clean overdrive boost in front of the amp model to tighten low-end pick attack
02Mooer GE100 (AMP Block: Modern DS / Recto)
High-gain amp block replicating the aggressive Mesa/Bogner tracking
03Mooer GE100 (NS Block: Noise Gate)
Tightens fast stop-start rhythm figures and cuts single-coil hiss
Because the Soundmaker is a basic analog practice amp and the Mooer GE100 is your primary digital modeler and dirt engine, set the amp channel to clean with gain low to avoid muddy double-distortion. Synyster Gates tracked with high-output Seymour Duncan Invader humbuckers, so on a single-coil Tagima Strat, the Mooer's pre-amp boost and extra bass compensation are required to add the necessary body and sustain. Tuned to Drop D (D-A-D-G-B-E) as on the original recording. Clean verse: bypass the GE100 drive and amp model blocks for the clean passage.
