Why these settings

The Bogner Ecstasy red channel is tighter and more articulate than a typical Marshall voice. Your Gold50 has more mid-bark and looser low-end, so I pulled bass down from the original's 5 to 4, kept mids strong at 6 for that cutting attack, and dropped presence from 7 to 6 to avoid the Marshall's tendency toward fizz at high gain. Gain at 7 gives you the saturation without losing note definition on the palm-muted D-string riffs.

PRO TIPFor the fast palm-muted verse riff, anchor your picking hand firmly on the bridge saddles and use short, aggressive downstrokes with the pick angled slightly — this gives you the percussive 'chug' articulation Gates gets; sloppy muting will turn this tone into mud instantly.
