OFF for this tone — the Katana Brown channel handles the gain. Keep it bypassed unless you want extra saturation for leads, then engage with Dist at 3.
The Bogner Ecstasy red channel is mid-forward with tight low-end — the Katana's Brown voice (Marshall-derived) is the closest match. I dropped bass by 1 vs the original (Bogner 5 → Katana 4) because the Katana's Brown mode has looser lows that mud up in Drop D. The ML-2 stays off; stacking its distortion with Brown channel gain would wash out palm-mute definition.
