Why these settings

Your Strat's single-coil bridge is brighter and lower-output than Timmons' RG humbuckers. Compensate: bass dropped from 6→5 to prevent flub, mid stays high at 7 for cut-through, treble/presence pulled back 1 point each (8→7) to avoid ice-pick harshness. The TS-style boost in front adds the midrange push and compression your single-coil lacks vs a hot humbucker.

PRO TIPTimmons picks closer to the bridge than most players and uses a slightly choked pick attack on fast runs — this gives the clinical separation in the original. Practice alternate picking with the pick angled slightly so only the tip grazes the string; you'll get that glassy shred articulation even on single-coils.
