RECOMMENDED — essential for tight palm-muted chugs in Drop-C; ISP Decimator or Boss NS-2 ideal
The EVH 5150 Iconic is actually closer to Tremonti's tone than you'd expect — both are tight, modern high-gain designs. The Mesa Mark V is slightly more scooped with tighter lows, so I've pulled the mids down to 4 (vs typical 5150 settings of 5-6) and kept gain moderate at 6 because the 5150's Blue channel saturates faster than the Mark V's IIC+ mode. Your Ibanez single coils will be brighter and lower output than Tremonti's humbuckers, so treble stays at 7 rather than pushing higher — the 5150 already has aggressive upper-mids.
