The Orange Crush 20 is a solid-state practice amp with a warm, slightly mid-forward voice closer to the Ampeg grind than a hi-fi bass amp. Mike Inez used an acoustic-electric bass which is brighter and more detailed than your GSR200's passive humbuckers—rolling tone to 7 compensates for the GSR's darker output. Bass at 6 keeps the Unplugged fullness without getting boomy through the small speaker. The original SVT compression is approximated by keeping gain moderate at 3—the Crush doesn't have tube sag but stays punchy here.
