Why these settings

The Fender Bullet 150 is a bright solid-state practice amp with a standard Bass/Treble/Mid control setup and no dedicated Presence or Reverb knobs. Because Angus's tone comes from a roaring, mid-heavy Marshall Super Lead, the amp's Gain is kept low on the clean setting to prevent solid-state clipping buzz, while a recommended Plexi-style overdrive pedal provides the vintage British saturation. The Mid control is pushed up and Treble is rolled back slightly to tame the Fender voicing's natural upper-end sharpness.

PRO TIPAngus Young's dynamic punch relies heavily on aggressive pick attack with heavy gauge picks and rolling the guitar volume down to around 8.5-9 for rhythm clarity, then rolling it to 10 for lead fills; also note the studio track is mastered roughly 28 cents flat of standard pitch.
