RECOMMENDED — not currently owned; Angus relied on the SVDS wireless preamp boost to hit the Plexi front end
Because the SoundX 100 is an unrecognized entry-level solid-state practice amp with varying faceplate labeling, presence is nulled and EQ is shaped to mimic a classic Marshall Plexi with pushed mids (7) and treble (7). The Sqoe Plus bridge pickup provides suitable humbucker output, but keep amp bass restrained at 4 so the low-end stays tight and avoids mud on the rapid B-string picking. If you acquire a boost pedal later, set the amp gain slightly lower (around 4) to let the pedal push the front end cleanly.
