Original rig

Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, Gibson Les Paul with humbuckers, likely a Tubescreamer-style boost in front for tightness — ADTR's signature metalcore/pop-punk tone from the For Those Who Have Heart era

Tight palm-muted chugs with scooped mids, aggressive but polished modern metalcore rhythm tone with pop-punk clarity on open chords

01Behringer UM300 (Ultra Metal)

This is your primary gain source — the Champion's Lead channel alone cannot reach Rectifier saturation. Run amp cleaner and let the UM300 do the heavy lifting. Mid Freq at noon keeps the scoop characteristic without disappearing.

Why these settings

The original uses a Mesa Rectifier's scooped modern voicing into a Les Paul's hot humbuckers. Your Strat's single coils are brighter and lower output, so the UM300 compensates with its own mid-scoop and saturation. Champion 100's Lead channel provides some grit but caps out before metalcore territory — the UM300 in front with amp gain at 7 (not maxed) keeps it tight. Rolled tone knob to 8 tames single-coil ice pick on palm mutes.

PRO TIPFor ADTR's tight chugs, anchor your picking hand firmly on the bridge and use aggressive downstrokes with your pick angled slightly — the attack definition matters more than gain amount for that punchy metalcore palm-mute sound.
